A cool , simple sidebar widget for Google Plus profile badge ..
How to add Google plus profile badge in Wordpress Widget area ?
- Download googlecards.zip and unzip
- Upload the unzipped googlecards folder to the '/wp-content/plugins/' directory
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Go to the ‘Widgets’ menu in WordPress and add the widget to your sidebar.
- Choose a title for the widget and input your google+ id. (You can find your google+ id by going to your profile, it is the 21 digit number e.g. plus.google.com/YOUR_ID_IS_HERE)

ReplyDeleteIs there anything like this for a wordpress.com blog?
ReplyDeleteI was so excited and followed your clear instructions exactly..but this won't work correctly for me. The widget causes my twitter feed to disappear entirely from my right sidebar when placed there. If placed on the left sidebar, it causes the main body of my pages to disappear entirely and a gap to show up at the very top of my pages. On either sidebar, it also appears as dead text only. This reads: 'Follow on Google +' then 'Parse Error: syntax error, unexpected t_string, expecting t_old_function or t_function or t_var or '}' in /home/content/j/a/d/jademay/html/wp-content/plugins/googlecards/googleCardClass.php on line 25'
